Pelini won’t rely on jucos - It is good Pelini knows that the key to long term success is developing young talent. I always thought there was a little too much emphasis on JUCO recruting while Bill Callahan was here. Though I don’t mind JUCO players at all I believe that in order to build a program you have to have the high school players.

Huskers get cornerback commit - It looks like Alfonzo Dennard, a cornerback from Georgia, has committed to the Huskers. He is 5′10″, 184 lbs and runs a 4.4 40. Both Rivals and Scout give him 3 stars.

Joe Ganz a ‘player to watch’ - I hope Joe has a great season for two reasons. 1. I am a huge Cornhusker fan and 2. Joe Ganz deserves it. He has bee a dedicated player his entire college career. He has earned any success he has.

Top 5 coaching hires - Pelini is a great hire for the price. I really like what he has done in his short time here.

Midland Recruiting Notebook - An update on recruiting for the Huskers, K-State Wildcats, and Iowa Hawkeyes.

Memorial StadiumAny readers out there interested in having their voice heard on this blog? If so please email me via the contact form. I would love to have a couple more writers.

It would be great to have a couple more people here to post twice a week, or more if they have something to say.

In addition to that if you have any ideas on how to make this blog/site better please do not hesitate to let me know. It is my goal to make this one of the best college football sites on the internet.

Huskers’ recruiting scare over - Although things are looking up as far as recruiting goes it won’t be over until signing day. Who know what could happen between now and then.

College Football Recruiting: Fans Hit Recruits’ MySpaces, Facebooks - Didn’t Kentucky have an issue a few years ago with a basketball recruit being contacted through Myspace? Just leave the recruits alone and let the coaches do their thing.

Mav QB will walk on at Nebraska - Wow, first Jim Ebke and now Steve Heiman. Who knows, maybe Heiman will have a awesome season and add an ’s’ to his name in his push for one of college football’s highest honors. I wish both these guy a lot of luck and success.
