Huskers pick up D-line commit - Thaddeus Randle from Galena Park, TX is the third known commitment for the 2009 class.

Ex-Husker Treu still true to NU, his coach - Adam Treu shouldn’t feel bad. Heck, I was big on Bill Callahan but knew when it was time for him to go.

Huskers pick up linebacker recruit - Looks like Shawn Bodtmann, a linebacker from Pennsylvania, has commited to Nebraska.

Fresh air from a legend - Are people really suprised that he hasn’t had any complaints. The man is a true living legend.

Funds yet to follow Osborne to NU - I am sure the major donors will come through soon enough.

Ruud excited about chance to play for Patriots - Three Huskers were drafter this weekend. Zack Bowman by the Bears, Carl Nicks by the Saints and Bo Ruud by the Patriots.

Grixby, Panthers agree to pact - While three Huskers were drafted, two have signed free agent deals. Courtney Grixby has signed with the Panthers and Steve Octavien with the Chiefs. Sam Keller and Maurice Purify have not been signed as of yet.

Five teams moving ahead and five in reverse - Matt Hayes from The Sporting News says that the Huskers are one of five teams moving ahead.

All roads lead to Lincoln under Pelini Plan - I really like Bo Pelini’s team approach to recruiting. It is also nice to see them focusing on New Jersey again. We have signed some really good kids from there in the past.

Conditioning, Spring Ball To Launch New Recruits - It is nice to have a coach who wants to develop talent instead of singing 5 star blue chippers and expecting miracles.

Walk-ons will help forge a new culture - Another article about the walk-on program from the York New-Times.

Group recruiting helps Husker cause - Group recruiting seems to be pretty effective. It would be pretty cool for some college coaches to take time to watch football at your house. I know that would weigh heavily on my decision.

Pelini puts in face time - I agree with Steve Sipple, time will tell if Doc Sadler and Bo Pelini are successful but it is nice to see them out among the public.

Now that signing day has past it is probably going to be pretty slow going for a while in regards to whats happening with Cornhusker Football. As always you can expect to find all pertinent football news here daily.

Legend tossed first pitch - Article on Tom Osborne’s recruitment of Micah Kreikemeier.

One good show for Bo - Coach Pelini was the honorary wrestling coach for the NU/OU match. Pelini is so awesome his presence resulted in a 21-9 win for the Huskers. My only question, what is Coach Manning doing in that picture?

Bo on the go - This quote from Tom Osborne says a lot about our coaches, both football and basketball: “It isn’t anything I’ve asked them to do. They operate as they see fit.”
