I-back picture refocused with Glenn’s move to defense – Looks like Cody Glenn could be switching to linebacker. This is probably a good move since we are pretty deep at I-back but not so much at linebacker.

Huskers Ink Three-Game Series With Southern Mississippi – This is a good deal. Southern Miss always seems to be tough. We will play them at home in 2012 and 2014 and in Hattiesburg, MS in 2013.

Pelini says he’s “in tune” with offensive coaches – Bo knows what he is doing. Although he will be the biggest asset for the defense I think the offense will benefit from him as well.

Glenn says he trusts Pelini more than he ever did Callahan – It is good to see Pelini earning the trust of the players. I think that was lacking big time during the Callahan era.

Bo says sky’s the limit for Ganz – Ganz has proven in the past he is a leader. I would love to see him start this year. He has definitely earned it.

Lucky content to stay at ‘home’ – In my opinion Lucky made the right decision. I hope he has an awesome year and elevates himself to a first round pick in the NFL draft.

NU Football Notes: Huskers’ Holt wants ‘Mo’ action – Purify was my favorite player while at Nebraska. I wish he had a couple of more years to play.
